experimentation.

i had a shoot today for a performative art that i did during my research of the work of Yves Klein. if you havent heard of him, he was the artist who named a tint of blue with his name, google it, its called "international klein blue".
i am researching one of his performances in which in front of a live audience, he asked three naked models to paint themselves with paint and then "reprint" their body (by essentially pressing their body) onto a big vertical sheet of fabric. it is one of his most famous performances and when i saw it, i fell in love. i am absolutely magnetized by the idea of the women using their bodies as "live brushes". his art is very nice. :)
